Simass – automatic laser welding systems with flexible modules
These systems use digitally-controlled axes. They are suitable for demanding applications in which there can be a high number of cycles and a need to maximise production capacity.
Well thought-out construction
The core of the system is a basic unit which contains the axes (travel distance X up to 1,010 mm, Y up to 1,110 mm, Z up to 510 mm) and the supply elements as well as an individually configurable and modular interchangeable handling and feeding system. The systems are well-equipped for specific demands thanks to these flexible modules:
1. The “Rotate” module
for components that are introduced in the work space via a rotary table.
2. The “Slide” module
for larger or longer components with multiple slots for parallel component feed and removal.
3. The “Powder” module
for welding processes for repair with automated powder application.
Flexible joystick
With the multifunctional joystick, our laser welding systems can be controlled with extreme precision, speed and convenience. Many application-oriented functions such as automatic pulse control, the activation of a fourth axis (turning device) or switching between analogue and digital operating modes are already implemented in the joystick as a standard.

Removable display
The removable display with magnetic holder simplifies the operation of all our systems as well as the control of all process data. With 50 memory locations, you can save various welding parameters and call them up at any time.
